WELCOME
The Home Builders Association of Central Louisiana is a 501-C(6) trade association of building industry professionals partnering with our community to promote responsible development and a high quality of life through education, advocacy and community involvement. We were established in 1957. For more than 50 years we have been affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders located in Washington D.C. and the Louisiana Home Builders Association located in Baton Rouge, LA. The HBA's purpose is to promote professionalism in the residential building industry and to help fulfill the American dream of home ownership.
We are located in Alexandria, Louisiana, and serve Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle and Rapides Parishes.
Builder members of the HBA consist of residential contractors, remodelers, and developers who maintain a current registration and or license from the LA State Board of Contractors. Our associate members represent all areas that support and are related to the home building industry. Affiliate members are people who are members of the association which have an existing member of their organization as a current member.
The HBA of Central LA has over 200 member companies. There are over 5,000 member companies in the LHBA and 232,000 in the NAHB.
As a member, you receive a 3 in 1 membership. The HBA works for you on the local, state and national level to protect our interest and industry. There is strength found in numbers which one can not achieve as an individual.
